I’m a 5.6-pound Yorkie with a big job and an even bigger heart.
I’m not just my mom’s shadow—I’m her sidekick, co-therapist, and the official therapy dog for the brave women she serves. I’ve been to more recovery sessions, boundary workshops, and heartfelt conversations than most humans. My job? To help women feel safe, seen, and deeply loved. And I take it very seriously—well, when I’m not napping in my favorite bed or rocking my latest outfit.
People say I have a sixth sense. I know when someone needs comfort and exactly how close to get—sometimes a cuddle, sometimes just being near. I’m here to remind them that healing is possible, that love doesn’t hurt, and that even the smallest among us can make a big difference.
I’ve had my own health challenges (don’t get me started on vet visits!), but I never let that stop me from showing up. Every day I get dressed, fluff my fur, and get ready to do what I do best: love.
I’m Hope. I help women heal—one paw at a time.
Okay, real talk? Being small, mighty, and adorable isn’t always easy. It takes work—and it turns out, my little body has had more than its share of drama.
I’ve had quite a few medical issues over the years—chronic tummy trouble, scary bouts of dehydration, back pain, and a few emergencies that gave Mom more gray hairs than she already had. Some days, I’m full of sass and sparkle, feeling great. Other days, I just need to rest and snuggle close.
I see my vet regularly and sometimes need extra visits, meds, and special treatments to keep me feeling my best. I’m on a special low-fat diet with homemade meals (yum), and every day I take medicine—three meds every other day to be exact. It’s a lot, but I know I’m worth it.
Mom watches me like a hawk and never misses a thing. She always makes sure I get the best care, no matter what. She says I’m priceless. (She’s right.)
I may be tiny, but my job is big. Every time I show up for someone else—even when I’m not feeling 100%—I know I’m doing what I was born to do.
Thank you for caring about me. It means more than you know.
Hi again—it’s me, Hope.
I want to tell you something really special.
Three of Mom’s amazing friends—Sue, Niki, and Patrice—did something so kind, it made my little tail wag with gratitude. They started a fundraiser… for me! They saw just how much Mom has been juggling to take care of me while continuing to help other women heal. So they stepped in with love, heart, and a big idea.
They’re raising $18,000 to help cover the care I need to stay healthy and strong. Why $18,000? Because 18 means life in Hebrew—and that’s what they’re giving me: more time to do what I was born to do.
We’re hoping to reach the goal by August 31st!
